ClearMax is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. (ClearMax does not remove nitrates from saltwater applications.) To use ClearMax in your aquarium, rinse the nylon bag thoroughly before use to remove ¬fine dust due to handling and place directly into the media basket. Monthly change is recommended, as exchange resins will no longer be active. Do not replace all ¬filter media simultaneously.
