Nikon Monarch M7 8x42 Binocular

Nikon Monarch M7 8x42 Binoculars add some new features to the Monarch 7 line. The most interesting of these are hydrophobic coatings on the outer lens surfaces and a locking diopter control. The hydrophobic lens coatings repel oil and water so they bead up and roll off the lens, making the binocular easier to use in wet weather and easier to clean. The locking diopter dial prevents the diopter from drifting when it rubs against your clothing or other objects. Monarch M7 binoculars use Nikon's ED glass for reduced distortion and chromatic aberration. The M7 8x42's field of view has been increased to 435' at 1000 yards, and close focus remains at 8.2'. These improvements come at the cost of a slight weight increase to 23.6 ounces. As with all Nikon Monarchs, the M7 8x42s are waterproof down to 3.3' for 10 minutes, and nitrogen purged for fog-free performance.
